What's the difference between this site and similar ones?
|
- Regrettably, in my opinion, most sites I've met and so are the professionals (instructors/personal trainers) either don't know enough or don't share their knowledge with the public. This is the main reason why I decided to create this site.
- In most cases a set (usually varies from 8 [whole body workouts] to 30 [splits]) of exercises is suggested and regardless whether it worked or not within a couple of month exercises and maybe the matter of their execution are changed. In the usual approach the question why never arises. It's like experiment and wonder. Many of you can say that's because science still doesn't have all answers. And it's true, but this shouldn't disturb us from constructing a model and working by it. When an economist wants to study something, he creates a model as close to reality (and as simple) as possible. When the model is constructed it's usually used to anticipate some behavior and if possible this behavior is compared with the real outcome. After this is done some conclusions can be made.
Luckily for us we don't need to create such model, it was already created by Vadim Protasenko (it's also the only model I was able to find in English, Russian or Hebrew). Since this model gives logical explanation to all common training routines, I adopted it. Moreover, over the years the model still remains relevant. Maybe in the future (it can be a distant future, for example: Newton's famous three laws model and how much time it took until Einstein made a more overall model) a better model will be suggested but till than as long as there are no cardinal differences between model outcomes and reality, I suggest working with this one.
- It's free. Not only the information is free, but software as well.
- You have the option to ask a question and receive a meaningful answer.
