There are many worth reading books. In the following short list I'll present only several of them. These books are popular. They present a point of view and probably the most important thing is that they will make you start thinking.
Here is the list:
- Stuart McRobert - has many different books and a magazine ("Hardgainer"). His site: http://www.hardgainer.com. Following books are recommended: "The Insider's Tell-All Handbook On Weight-Training Technique", "Beyond Brawn", "Bench press 180" and "Arms of titan". There is also an opposite view: "Anti McRobert or think the Russian way" by Faliev Valentinovich (unfortunately I found this book only in Russian therefore I probably misspelled author's name).
- Mike Mentzer - his book "Heavy duty 2: mind and body" made a lot of noise in the world and highly recommended. Site: http://www.mikementzer.com. Mentzer belongs to HIT (High Intensity Training) school. Mentzer continued ideas of his teacher Arthur Jones (for more information see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Jones_(inventor)). Therefore if you stumble upon Jones articles (I've met several bulletins from the 70) it's advisable to read them.
- Dr. Judd Biasiotto - his book "On Becoming World Class" makes you want to go to gym and... yes, become world class athlete. This book is a composition of Judd's speeches where the purpose is to give high psychological boost. Especially recommended when training enthusiasm decreases.
